I live in Canada and to say the least, most of what you say is not correct. Here in Canada no one knows who is a Hindu or a Muslim or Jew or Christian. They never, as a policy, ask your religion. Secondly, there are numerous deserving Indians, Hindus and Muslims working for the Canadian Govt because they have been able to pass their exams and interviews and prove that they are capable of doing what they claim to be able to do. Most reactions come as a result of shattering of dreams that most cherish before they reach here. They would imagine, like Mr. Nigam who is an engineer, to get into the same field and if that person in India was earning Rs. 50,000 per month to make at least 5 times that. And on reaching find that their education does not have the quality that they require here and that the graduate engineers sometimes dont have as much knowledge as that of diploma holders here. So they have to spend moeny to qualify in their fields (by the way Mr. Nigam should be saying he spent 1 million Rupees and not dollars). Even after his qualifying in his field of education if he cannot get employment here, he should think about his employability anywhere in the world. About Bittu saying he does not want to live among beef eaters, well, he should pack his bags and go to where there are no beef eaters live. He wants to live in the US and do business there, and feel constipated that others eat beef is laughable. To think you are from India and being a Hindu is a big adva
