I'm afraid we as Indians claim we have a gr8 civilization and value system true enough but today with the advent of the computer and the TV reading or even eduaction is in question! everything is objectified or is consumer related no doubt a mindset that began in the West but with our well heeled travelling all over the world we pick up what is not fit to add to our own good ways or lifestyle.The west have discovered India and the falsity of their life out there and come to enjoy the relative peace but our own corrupt authorities never fail to destroy the land..we need to work as communities with the government and police and not divide ourselves in the lines of caste ,religion and the west and east. The rape of a 15year old girl and her murder whatever it be is hideous and a mother is a mother so lets stop talking bullshit and see how the crime can be vindicated and the Goan population whoever we be acn do it as its to do with being humanbeings first. When we travel as women we have to be more careful even in the west as places like Newyork and London are equally if not more dangerous as drugs and sex are there everywhere and a place like Goa remains still relatively safe but very disturbing influences of money, corrupt power and pelf is creeping in really fast and the politicains and police along with those who own land are selling out! the simple Goan lifestyle has undergone a unbelieveable cahnge this last decade and the rot must be stopped.As Indian citizens only we can
