Because of international pressure, the truth is slowly emerging out of the second round of investigations in Goa. Had it been a poor girl in Goa, the police would have have gotten away shielding the guilty. The Goa Govt should dole out exemplary punishment in this case to restore global confidence in our legal system. He should also take immediate steps to clear the beautiful beaches in Goa of the drug addicts & peddlers. The intellectuals in Goa should team up to make sure there is no easy miscarriage of justice in future as was likely in this case because tomorrow it could be their own daughters or sisters, who could be similar victims.
