Read the article in the UK newspaper Daily Mail where the mother says she is not to blame. She talks about knowing her daughters lifestyle and yet defends herself leaving a 15 year old in Goa and going with the rest of her family to some place in Karnataka.
She says that in England that is the way that things are done, 15-16 year olds are mature and can have sex. She knew her daughter used to smoke cannabis and now she is blaming the drug mafia for killing her.
I feel sorry for a young person dying, but for the mother to plead such innocence shows her extreme irresponsibility in raising her children and absolute lack of awareness about the world by thinking that behaviour acceptable in England is also acceptable in India.
