19 TRS MLAs and MLCs quit Andhra Pradesh assembly
by Ram Prasad on Mar 04, 2008 12:57 PM

As a protest the TRS MLA's and MP's and MLC's have resigned. but i do not understand if they are not there in the parliament, Assembly who will sponsor the bill for separate Telengana state and who will really take up the cause of Telengana. Creating media sensation is one thing but more important thing is making the Telengana Issue a main issue in parliament because that is from where Statehood can come not through media. I have lost all my belief in TRS and its ability to bring Telengana state, they had a golden opportunity to press for separate state in 2004 as they were in a position to generate enough support for Telengana state in the parliament, but they conveniently forgot about it because they were given union minister posts. Now that elections are coming they are suddenly remembering the main plank. They are just playing games like congress party and the end losers will be people of Telengana. Personally I will not be surprised if KCR pitches in for a united Andhra Pradesh if given a union minister post or any other post.
