hehe, got you on your emotional side. India is yours, take it and live it, I never denied that nor robbed you of it. If given a chance you will execute me, ha ha. Emotional patriotism will blind us from seeing any other dimension.
I do not understand why we need to live in past and forget the present. Holding on to moral values, caliber etc I am fully with you. Hold on to good qualities of history and learn from past mistakes, taking no sides, an unbiased view and prevent the occurence in future.
If history was absent we will not be what we are today. If we keep UNDOing history we shall not progress from today to tomorrow, we will be frozen in time( how wish i was the playful kid again). Alas, when will we truly get educated as the older generation did and lived more happily without the gizmos!!
