Mr.Sam Manekshaw was made chief of army staff after some time and after already the damage was done by the earlier army chief during the so called India's china war. The famous speech of Manekshaw at the time to his generals who were waiting to hear him consisted only one sentence. He said "Gentlemen there will be no more withdrawls" and he turned around and walked out.
