During the terrorist hey days of Kashmir, they demolished many temples there, and hlaf a dozen of them are big temples. Gulam Nabi Azad government has started reconstructing these temples which is not to the liking of fanatic muslims in Srinagar. They understand only one language , that is violence. As per the present problem,I think people are totally misled by the PDP and National Conference politicians. The land that was alloted was totally inhospitable for any so called "Hindu" settlements. It is on the slidings of the Himalayas and purely meant for constructing toilets, or way side shlters while the Amarnath Yatra piligrims progress. Even for that you need to build big bunds, so that snow slides would not collapse on the toilets. At present the piligrims have to make do with trenches as toilets and the privacy is provided by gunny bags!! What is so great about these muslims of Srinagar? Were they all born to Changiz Khan and Tamarlane? Amarnath piligrims provide the business to Srinagar without which many muslims family either have to go in to illegal activites or die of hunger. The truth is that it was PDP which alloted the land to shrine board. The Srinagar muslims did not allow their own Pundit community (Jawaharlal Nehru belonged to this community)to live along with them!! Imagine what happened during partition!! Srinagar muslims do not deserve any.
