It was just two days after Cristman in 1981. I was nominated Homeguards Ahmednagar for a 15 days camp in Mumbai. I won the first price in rifle shooting at worli rifle training centre, and received a cup by the hands of Mr.Manekshaw. After this ceremony of prize distribution, he delivered a speech which he remakably inspired patriotic feelings. I was in tears with pride for country, and felt very small before those who easily gave their lives for the country. He will be always be in the memories of millions like me.
