Hey, The ram sethu is to only help LTTE. After it is operational LTTE can get all the heavy machinery available right at their port Vanni/ Yazhpanam which is controlled by them. As of now due to low depth they are not able to get large ships to enter into theie territory. With 4000Crores you can very well develop a new port at Tuticorin and even laid a dedicated rail link between Chennai and Tuticorin which ultimately solves the purpose. This will in turn spur other infrastructure related growth.
DMK and other parties are only interested in helping LTTE not for their people.
