Annadurai is cheat greed for power. When the moment DK was started these guys joined to get some thing for their stomach. The DK's principle was not to contest in the elections but these greedy thieves separated from DK with no policy/vision except the word Tamil. They diverted people very deft and came to power. Rajaji was instrumental in bringing these people to power. He only suggested Anna&co to start a party and even gave some ideas to deflect people's attention from asking why they are deviating from their (DK) basic rule of not contesting the elections.
Annadurai cited the E.V.Periyar's late marriage with his step daughter as the reason for separation. But when you take annadurai's personal life it is too bad to digest. he is a womanizer to the core and had illicit relationship with many actress of that time. This is portrayed well in a book written by Kannadasan.
So it is a pity for tamilnadu to have such immoral people as their celebrities.
