this argument is all bogus. i will explain point wise. 1. its a truth that we need energy. mostly clean energy. 2. argument is typically leftist, ill informed, short sighted and with no deep thinking. 3. as government has to spend 6 lakh crore for second hand u.s. madepower reactors. this is bogus. 4. government need not spend a penny, all that is required is to open nuclear energy for private indian companies. 5. indian share market has market capitalisaition at least 300 times more than the money required. so companies can raise money in free market. 6. mostly foriegn mutual funds will invest to a certain govt. limited percentage. so u can bye western reactors with their money to start with. 7. power projects in kerala, supported by Russia costs 6000 Cr. for reactors to produce 5000-7500 MW electricity. so u can buy reactors from Russia and France and not the dumped u.s. made reactors.
