RE:Blunting India's growth
by Ramakrishnan on Jul 13, 2008 05:58 PM

I agree with you dear. Let us take the example of prosperity they made to their socalled bastion "West Bengal" and "Kerala". The former has lost the credibility to set up any industry despite having all the basic amenities and climate for setting up of industries, more particularly, natural resources while the later has been reduced to a non-producing state, a market for all the manufacturers to try and test market their products. The main source of income, agriculture, has been reduced to a big zero,as day by day people go for converting the farming land into non-agricultural land just because they cant afford farming because of the exhorbitant labour costs as compared to any other part of the country. The State, Kerala has enough potential to set up and nurture industries like the neibouring states of Tamil Nadu or Karnataka but nobody will dare to set up an industry there. Before laying the foundation stone, these socalled peoples will come and oppose the project by their labour unions. They are the ones who is acting like slaves to China, no doubt.
