RE:One big difference
by ravi kiran on Jul 13, 2008 09:58 AM

Sheetal, yur comments on mumbai shows ur ignorance of what mumbai is and ur understanding of what civilisation is... in 2005 mumbai had a its worst flood in 200 years in which nearly 1100 ppl died. just remember tht the local & central govt were lacking even a remote measure of resources USA has. the water level was higher than that in New Orleans which ws affected by hurricane Katrina in the same year in august. but the ppl in mumbai were civilized and strong, they pitched in together and helped each other. they responded in the same way as people in USA did..this is civilization in its true sense...

before yu comment on the cleanliness in mumbai or in india....u hv to understand the socio-economic conditions prevailing in india; there is an immense pressure on the natural resources, infrastructure in india due to its huge population..and naturally they fail sometimes...but still people are learning...india is changing...yes the process is slow, but it has been there..yu cannot expect a 20 wheel driven truck to run with the same speed as a ferrari..similarly u cannot compare india & USA on a common base...its the responsibility of ppl like u who are educated and been to places to bring that awareness in people!U dont do that...its still ok...but then u lose ur right to comment againist them...it shows how uncivilized yu are!
