nuclear deal
by SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE on Jun 24, 2008 03:21 PM

prime minister's statement that only nuclear power only can meet the energy requirement of our country is not correct.moreover we need not go for nucler plants where we have to depend on imports of uranium.we can solve this problem by adopting biomass power plants.for this we need 10%of forest land reserved for growing miscanthus grass a family of bamboo which also absorbs more carbon than any other plant and without spoiling ecological balance.the gestation period is only two year by that time the energy plant can be installed.complete europe is working on this and spain has succeeded.instead our prime minister can concentrate on having strategic alliance with usa ignoring the communists.afterall china developed only with usa alliance.our comrades will never learn to work hard and come up.instead of political gambling we need will power of a statesman.
