John Bosco,
I am sure you wd have read Krupakaran's reply.
1) China "gate crashed" into the exclusive "Nuclear Club". So, China is a "have". India is still a "have not". Therefore, this 1,2,3 Agreement won't be the same as China-US Agreement.
2) China is not happy with this Indo-US deal.
3) I agree with Krupakaran on the role of the NSG - The West wanted to draw the line in the sand before India could cross it. Don't ask abt Pakistan. No one knows why the USA is okay with that Islamic centre of terrorism, not only holding nuclear bombs but also selling them.
4) Krupakaran is right to mention: THORIUM, India has huge reserves. It is a sister-element of Uranium, I believe, occurs the two appear in the same group in the "Periodic Table" scientists use to classify elements.
5) He mentions also something new: "The Russian offer of off-shore nuclear power-generation". It wd be interesting to get more info. on this, if Krupakaran can dig up.
