This deal would have been fruitful to India, had it been signed a year back. Back then India was flying high and could have asserted some of its own terms and conditions. Currently it is blatantly clear that India is in turmoil and the US will use all tricks in the book to make the deal favourable for its cause. Though not signing the deal would still be the last thing on India's mind as flaring up America cannot be afforded by anyone. They hold the big stick and whether our national pride forbids us to bow down before them or anyone else, we still have to, because there is no other choice.
