N-deal
by Tom Dick on Jun 22, 2008 01:50 PM

There is not one country in this world who is interested in the welfare of another country. Every one has their own self interest, be it nuclear fuel or natural gas. So it is in our best interest to look after our interests. In any deal there will be some colateral damage to both parties. So one has to assess the potential damage and see if it is worthwhile to go ahead with any deal. One thing we must not forget is that we need enregy and plenty of it in the coming years if we have to sustain the growth we achieved. In order to maintain a reasonably comfortable life style, cheap electricity, be it from nuclear, gas or coal, is required. Political parties must realise that every Indian has a right to ask for cheap power.
