What if LEFT wants to be left alone
by ASHOK on Jun 20, 2008 08:02 PM

Left wants to be left alone.
Congress should look into matter, its own image is at stake.
Crude oil price was 40$ / barrel in 2004 and in last 4 years it is threatening to be 150US$ per barrel.

Not a single Middle Eastern country will subsidise it for love of India.

Nuclear Fuel is controlled by Western Block.
Russia has absolutely no hold over it, rather it buys it from Australia. So is the case with China. China also buys it from Australia.

If India wants to remain in isolation, than its is our loss. We can not pay for such a high price of Gas or Crude.

In that case our economy will be down in just 1 year. We should have gone in for Nuclear fuel almost 2 years back. It takes minimum 5 years to make a reactor critical
