Madam Sonia Gandhi's two days in Maharashtra have made news, one of her offering 15 minutes prayers at the feet of the idol of Shridi Sai Baba, and the other her speech to the Congress party workers where she took Raj Thackarey to task about creating division among the people, only when one person came with a black flag post, the Congress party workers jumped on him and the rest is well covered by the media. Sonia Gandhi came, made her mark, and left with security personnel who deprived other Shridi worshippers to wait for 90 minutes. This is the price the ordinary citizens have to pay for VIPs and their right of passage.
