Management of the Flash Floods in Orissa is yet another example of Center's apathy towards people of Orissa. Throwing a few bags of grain or a few tents is all one can expect to see as a measure of relief form center. People of Orissa are peace loving in nature and this very quality is seen as it's weakness. The center exploits every ounce of mineral form the Tribal lands of Orissa and yet the Tribals are the poorest in this country. The word compensation does not exist for the sycopants in Delhi or for the babus in Orissa. The Tribals must learn form the Gujjar agitation in Rajesthan and follow their footsteps to secure their livelyhood.
