Does dad distinguish between his children the ones who believe in him and ones who dont? the answer is no since fatherly/ motherly love is unconditional no matter what the child has done. It is ever forgiving unconditional love and is saddened when their children fight among themselves. So doesnt matter which face, idol, book,prophet or symbol you worship try to see the other person as a human being the son/ daughter of the same god( called in different names by diff. groups) as the one you worship.
