when congress started reservation, it was for the right reason - to bring the backward classes forward. The reservation politics was started by VP Singh in 1990 who saw a vote gathering opportunity in reservation while his supporter BJP watched in silence.
Don't blame Nehrus and Patels and Ambedkars for the ills of reservation that we see today.
