I believe on the first 5 Yr plan the reservation for teh Backward castes were implemented with a clear statement that after 5 Yrs this will be reviewed and if possible will be revoked. But in India everybody wants not to work hard. The quota keep on growing.The general people except Brahmins and Kstriyas and few other sects were renamed as OBCs.Still they are not happy they wanted ST status... People dream of growing bigger and stronger but in India it's not to be. I am hoping the day will come when the so called higher castes will be declared as some reserve category... And still the people complain why the so called higher caste people does not like the self called lower caste people...
