You would have preferred Karunanidhi? Actually the rot started when the DMK came to power in 1967. The idiots in Virudhunagar defeated K Kamaraj and instead elected a DMK man in his place. The results are there for all to see.
You seem to have a hatred for MGR. You are entitled to your views, but much of your charges are factually incorrect. It was he who actually increased OBC reservation from 31% to 50%. It was Karunanidhi who relaxed the liquor policy during his tenure and introduced liquor to a whole generation of people by opening arrack shops. Your other charges are only vague and general.
Not that I am a fan of MGR, but anyday I would have preferred him to the present CM who doesn't have any redeeming qualities. MGR was a generous man and helped many people. Karunanidhi is generous only to his own family.
