If Bardhan is so committed to the welfare of poor under the guise of so called secularism, he should first ask his counterpart in West Bengal why it is at the bottom of all social indicators, be in education, healthcare, rural poverty or pitiable condition of Muslims(Please refer Sachar report)even after their rule for 30 years. Actually Indian communists are a bunch of power mongers without any responsibility surviving by keeping the people poor.
