RE:Gorkhaland
by Dipak Bose on Jun 14, 2008 06:11 PM

No country in the world will allow foreigners like Nepalese to create a seperate state. Do the Indians living in Nepal can demand a seperate state???
Most of these Nepalese came to India after 1950 Indo-Nepal Treaty; they are not Indian by any means.
Burma and Sri Lanka had expelled Indians who used to live there for 150 years. Similarly India must expell all Nepalese, otherwise they will take over North Bengal, Kumaun, Terai in Uttar Pradesh-Uttarachal, Garwal & Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, & Sikkim which they had occupied in early 19th century until they were driven out by the British and Ranjit Singh.
