Sick State Syndrome

It is sad to realise that India as a country has a hard time defining itself that it is no wonder the world cares little for its Hindu people. One can blame the pacific element in Hinduism which exerts the greatest violence and prejuidice on their own that any outsider has been a welcome and honoured guest. This has reinforced the idea in other countries that anything can be done to a Hindu with impunity. Whether it is Hinduism or the cowardice and selfishness of our our people is irrelevant as one is synonemous with the other. The Government could hardly be different but I have at times seen devoted servants of the Indian state doing their very best against the contra trends that dibhilitates their capacity to do much good. Kushwant Singh has written that this character has been shaped by the insecurity presented by the seemingly impenetrable Himalayes which in reality proved an illusion. Lack of security has not been compensated by a political capacity and sagacity to strike at the enemy on his ground before he had inevitably at Bharat at its heart. If that was the for the last several milleniums, the modern India is now weighed down on its wings by Islamic states and a beligerant China on its doorsteps atop the Himalayes in a way no previous enemy threatened. Diversity in race and creed has been India's bane not its fortune. India may appear powerful but has no where to projects its power under its leadership.
