What Rajeev has written needs some thinking from the Indian est.
But these things need to be looked at critically by the individuals before venturing into "migration processes". Indian govt sorting out each & every case ... impossible to think of.
There is no need to go into North-South or Gujju-Bong divide while dealing with Indian diaspora. Indian govt of late seems to swing into action ... not all the times though.
Recently I heard one instance of an Indian flying out of Dubai to Australia on work permit. He was detained at the airport with the suspicion of a name similar to a crminal absconding. Most countries don't go by our passport numbers becoz every 5 years (now 10 years) we keep changing passports. On a mistaken identity, that gentleman was held for 3-months during which he lost his job, spent time in prison & had a mild heart attack. And indian govt did nothing. Authorities didn't even issue an apology saying it was a case of mistaken identity.
