Hi Kris & Seshadri, I completely agree to your view on current socio-political situation prevails in tamilnadu. I personally feel that brahmins in Tamilnadu have distanced themselves from other streams. This is not happening in other states where they co-exist like brothers and sisters. In tamilnadu particularly in metroes brahmin are living in pockets and are unwilling to mingle with others. I found it very difficult to get a house for myself in Ashoknagar which is predominantly a brahmin area. They simply refuse to give house to non-brahmins even though i am a strict vegetarian. This makes the task easier for politicians and missionaries who want to split the people on caste lines. Finally this is the duty of broad minded people like us to create mutually helpful,friendly atmosphere where all people live in harmony.
