In fact democtas like Linden Johnson and to some extent Bill Clinton ahve been more anti India than REpublicans except NIxon and Kissinger. If at all relations with India improved only under republican leaders like Reagan and BUsh(to a large extent). India is more responsible for that. India was in apositionto take advantage.
