Bribe and cover up idea would have hampered investigations initially
by Vismay on Jun 10, 2008 09:43 AM

It is true that the whole house was not searched by occupants or police. Probably the family had told the story and tried to cover up bribing them or they may have misled police to believe their story. Because of Dr. Talwars' tall standing in the society police did not follow standard pattern of investigations. By now the news had become a larger than local news under public scrutiny via media. Here both parents and police were pushed to a corner with no other option. The family has to explain many things so does the police. Police has to explain why standard procedures were not followed. Family has to answer many questions like how did they name Hemaraj even before searching the house including terrace. Any killer will have fear of his life, in that situation after committing double murders, why did that killer drag Hemaraj to terrace, cover with cooler cover, lock the terrace keep the key in its place and walk out. It has taken enough time, what were the other occupants doing, when all these were happening under their roof. Why are 23 pictures out of 29 pictures taken from Arushi's camera deleted? Did that have pictures of other people?
