The Khilafat was abolished by a Muslim country (Turkey) only way back in 1924 and the impetus for the same was provided by two Indian Muslims (Ali brothers)! There is no way they can resurrect the ghost of a bye-gone era but the Mullahs brainwash the impressionable muslim youth of India by quoting some verse or other from their holy book.
Leave just one generation out of religious studies (or teach them only after they attain the age of 25) and see how many of them believe in the religious dogmas.
