RE:Abolish reservation policy in DRDO
by Arif Rashid on Jun 04, 2008 09:40 AM

"There is reservation in the South to the extent of 70% for the past 60 years which has enabled them to produce the largest number of highly qualified technicians."

Hundred percent wrong. The majority of the engineers and technicians produced in south India are not highly qualified at all. Since they get admission in the engineering colleges with the help of grace marks due to reservation, their IQ level is below normal. That is why their majority ends up getting menial jobs in GULF. ISRO is performing good not because of high concentration of South Indians but due to a small number of highly talented scientist who belong to every part of India.
Reservation should be abolished and in the new system, only the best should be chosen.
