Islamist radicals have been active in Bangladesh for decades...these groups who are sympathetic to Pakistan and against the liberation of Bangladesh had carried out anti India/anti Hindu propaganda thru dozens of daily newspapers. The extent of venom spewed out against Hindus and Hinduism in that country is nauseating. Anti India translates into anti Hindu in that country. Groups like Islami Chhatra Shibir have been cutting up ankles and wrists and terrorizing for a long time. Another feature of terror in Bangladesh is harassing Hindus and brutalizing them for any incident in India, eg Babri masjid, riots etc. Bangladesh Hindus are practically marooned - not welcome in India because the Bengal communists dont like them or have any empathy for them at all..W Bengal has little or no brotherly, religious or nationalistic emotions left after decades of Communist brainwashing. On the other hand Hindus in Bangladesh are simply another kafir nuisance that has to be dealt with. Hindus are called Malawoons in Bangladesh. Their property are much coveted and their women are prime targets for Islamic conversion.
