I belive you have good comprehension in english ,it is just that you are delibratly omitting the sentences in between. Prophet Muhammed was the one who arraigned the marriage between Zaid AND Zainab. After the divorce,Zainab wanted her status to be recovered and it is she who expressed the desire to marry Prophet Muhammed and not He. so to speak of Muhammed suddenly got mesmerized with her beauty is a travesty of truth because Zainab was Prohets cousin and he knew here all along.
