France is a country which generates over 70% of its power needs from nuclear reactors. If india wanted to get technology and experience, thats where they have to look. With so much industrialisation, the crying need of the moment is for more power in the grid (the government is incapable of taking steps to decrease the Rs.10000 crore power loss every year due to inefficient transmission systems and ageing equipment). But of course, like a faithful dog doing what his master orders him to do, the government chooses not to listen to its OWN scientists (what knowledge do politicians have of nuclear technology to be talking about it in the first place?) and is going ahead with the deal... While it may not affect the average citizen, the politicians in the USA must be snickering behind our backs while getting ready the bazooka that will be the final blow...
