A word on Indian politics. I like to believe that by and large, politicians have good intentions but their vision is myopic to the concerns of the populace which get them into power. But then, that is the essence of Democracy and it's better than the alternatives out there. The expectation is that the politicians at the national level keep national interest primary. In this sense both the BJP and the left have failed India and hopefully, they will be shown the boot in the coming elections.
