I hate the Congress party more than anything in this world. I believe that they are a collection of boot-licking weak men who cannot even find a leader among them. In fact I hate them even more than the commies whose policies destroyed my state, Kerala, economically. The commies, who I hated in my college days, though are straight people with a flawed ideology. Its their ideology is is bad, the people themselves are good. The kangressis on the other hand are real slimy wife-swappers whom you'd never associate with socially.
However that being said, it is not correct to apply that hate to the nuclear deal. The deal does not bind us to anything. It just allows us to buy nuclear fuel from the NSG without being a party to NPT. It does not BAN us from testing. If we conduct tests, obviously US could nullify the deal. But that still would not make us worse compared to what we have now. We still would be able to conduct tests without the deal. So the WORST thing that could come out of this is that "if we test in future we'll be back to our current nuclear state". Tell me how's that bad. We could try this out and if it doesnt work, move on! Somebody tell me how this deal has made India a slave to the US? Accoring to me this deal can be summed up as
1 US wants to sell nuclear fuel and technology to INdia for MONEY. However it'll see only if INdia does not use the same for nuclear weapons tests. If INdia conducts nuclear tests the deal could be nullified.
