Muslim extremism is a by-product of Hindu extremism? Go as far back into history as you can. You will find only violence in Islamic history (whatever Quran or Prophet Mohammed has to say violence is Islam's main-stay.) The reason why Mughals were able to rule India is because they were extremists. They could oppress and suppress the gullible Hindus because they were extremists. Had that not been the case, they could have never been able to convert Hindus into Islam.
Contrary to this, Hindu extremism (whatever small proportions it has) is a much recent development and is a reaction to Islamic extremism and that too because the government is indulging in pacification of Islamic extremists.
