It is a fraud. Mentally corrupts weak minded people who are looking for a quick solution to escape from life. It is ethically bankrupt and a clever ploy to subjugate women, and basically destroys the natural intelligence of a human being; hidden under a sophisticated garb of organized religion. That is why you see mass mediocrity and lack of intellectual pursuits in Islamic countries. It is only free oil money that is putting a show of opulence for some them; otherwise it is totally hollow philosophically. What you see periodically is bouts of violence by mentally depressed people who are angry at other people who are happy and progressing in life like it happens in mall and college shootings in the US - like Virginia Tech's Cho and many others. They have this hallucinatory self-righteous anger because of overdoes of inaction and lack of clariy, purpose and passion to keep pushing in life.
