RE:Need TADA
by Daler Dogra on Jul 29, 2008 04:29 PM

PDP has now revived the separatist and anti-Hindu movement by fanning Muslim fanatics on Amaranth Issue. No Pseudo-secular has raised his voice for this injustice.

If we want to defeat terrorists we need to expose these anti-national pseudo-intellectual and pseudo-secular forces. There are some peaceniks who will suggest that we should continue to appease Muslims so that they stop targeting us. They will blame BJP for creating Muslim terrorists. But this is a fallacy. For example look at Europe where even though most Muslims due to their cultural backwardness are unemployed and survive on government grants, Islamic terrorism is still a major problem for these countries. Islamic terrorists take appeasement as a sign of weakness and get encouraged. The more you give in to them the more they will demand. For example US policy of no negotiations with terrorists has resulted in less Americans getting.

POTA or any other anti-terror law is meant to stop the homegrown terrorism and help investigation agencies to infiltrate terror cells. TADA was quiet effective as Islamic terrorism in India ceased after 1992 when TADA was used against them. TADA also ensured that Islamic terrorists did not get any support from Muslim masses.

Terrorists and their sympathizers feared the state because of TADA and were on run till it was repealed for Vote bank politics and now most political parties are unwilling to go for such a law.
