The Indian Police system inclluding the para military forces like the RPF, CRPF and the BSF is the most corrupt, callous and insensitive in the entire world. Anyone who has had an experience of dealing with the police from a simple passport application verification or a Traffic infringement knows that giving money is just institutionalised. Getting a Police constable's job costs a few lakhs.The police system has to be freed from the clutches of the politicians and bereaucrats who hve used it for their personal gains. The Media and common citizens have to be ever vigilant to ensure this. All these tall claims made by the cops have to taken with a pinch of salt.
