it was not riot at all. kerala muslim fought against british. there was nothing happened between muslim and hindus in kerala. it was independence movement. kilafat movement... u also want to know one thing. muslims of kerala fought against portuguese for 100 years under kunjali marakkar(there were 4 marakkars during these 100 yrs) with their wealth for not to get invaded. initially hindus were there to fight against them. then they joined with them and have a treaty with them. hindu rulers even traited muslims fighters. Even then kerala muslim fought against 100 yrs. but that made them backward.
all hindus learned its consequences when freedom fight movement happened.
