Gated communities will be safer for everyone. After 9/11, there was a lot of talk about people moving away from cities and over to smaller village-style communities, where they would mainly be among people they know and trust. Likewise, with India suffering terror attrocities every day, then it should be appropriate to move into gated communities and also back to smaller villages, where people aren't bunched up into one large target.
