There is a saying, "If your friend leaves you once, it's his fault. But if your friend leaves you more than once, it's your fault." I think the Islamic leaders and intellectuals need to ponder over this quote. The whole world is wary of islamic terrorism and the islamic leaders need to have an introspection on the same. Faith in God is good, but a blind faith that does not allow one to tolerate other entity is not worth to follow. If "the God" teaches you to hate and kill others you need to leave that God for the sake of human life in the world. Dogmatism is not good for anything. Any dogmas should be read in line with the prevailing situation of the same and therefore should stand for changes as per the demand of present situation for the sake of society. We cannot impose our ideas and believes on others. They have their own identity. Respecting others identity or their being into existence is necessary for a peaceful living in this world. Failure of this has proved destruction of human life and kingdoms. Let the muslim intellectuals and leaders see the essence of Quran and teach the same in Madrasas and all instead of translating line-by-line of quran to young minds. Those dogmas and isms that does not change in line with the need of time will perish desperately.
