San man, Yes correct. People like Lallu are in politics for their own "fun", for their own benefits. Like you, I doubt their sincerety. They may benefit only their caste or their blind supporters. Lallu, Paswan and Malayam make me think that everything in India is "by the politicians, of the politicians and for the politicians". But you see, san man, a lot of our ordinary people like "manipulators and their illicit wealth". They vote for them. They think such people are "clever". Our Puranas say that in "Kali Yug" only such people will be admired. I am amazed by such points written at least 2,000 years ago. Dharma Devata, represented as a Gow Mata, has only one leg in Kali Yug. That leg may be called "money" or "amount" as we say in the South. Gow Mata starts with Four legs in Krita yuga, loses one in Tretha yuga, one more in Dwapara yuga and starts Kali Yuga with the last one!! This is just a symbolic way of showing the reduction in the "Dharma Consciousness' of people in general. Wanting to win elections is directly related to "money" not out of a desire to serve the Public. So, there is no Dharma in their thinking. In my view the last leg of Dharma in Kali Yug is likely to be a reference to good Gurus, good people of all communities - certainly to no one in politics.
