It's the fault of both national parties, the BJP and Cong - they've refused to educate the masses on the dangers of the Communist traitors and they've failed to lift the socio-economic shackles keeping the masses in perpetual poverty, ignorance and oppression. Once these ills are mitigated, the Left will have little, if any, appeal with the masses.
