Somenath is in this position because of his party CPM. The decision to lend him for speakership was taken by the party. Now he wants to enjoy(foreign trip other government facilities) the position that the party is opposed to. This is some sort of defection. He showed immaturity. But CPM should sticked it it's position that Somenath is not above party before trust vote took place. Instead their official explanation was,"Somenath is free to take his own decision". This is not transparency.I do not foresee party will lose any thing as he is not a mass leader. His aristrocracy brought him to this position.It will be a blunder from his part if he tries to hobnob with Congress now.
