You are 100% correct. In fact expelling him is no sufficient punishment for the disfame he brought to the party which made him what he is today. Whether it is CPI or CPM or Congress or BJP, party is prime and all members must respect the Party - right or wrong. If he thinks the party is wrong, he should have first come out openly and quit the party on his own instead of making a mockery of the Party machinery. Greed has taken over loyalty and at 80 he has no other way of making crores of rupees in one go!
